Vincent Wong Law Firm faced a critical issue with an outdated website that did not align with contemporary design practices prevalent in the legal industry. The challenge was to redesign the website to increase litigation inquiries from shareholders, necessitating a modern and engaging client-facing platform. The legal industry often lags in adopting modern design practices, making it crucial to bridge this gap and present Vincent Wong as a forward-thinking and professional law firm through an updated website.
Old Website
The current website was extremely outdated by over a decade and required an entire rehaul. The design had to strike a balance between modern aesthetics, the asian cultural focus of the firm's services, and the authoritative image expected in the legal sector. The implementation involved both Webflow for the prototype and WordPress for the final coded website, adding a layer of technical considerations to the project.
The primary users of the redesigned Vincent Wong website are prospective clients, particularly shareholders seeking legal representation. The law firm owner, project manager, and the programming development team were key collaborators involved in ensuring the success of the project.
The approach to the Vincent Wong website redesign involved a comprehensive strategy to modernize the firm's online presence. Collaborative sessions with the law firm owner, project manager, and the programming development team provided valuable insights into the firm's values and goals. Figma was utilized to create detailed screen designs, ensuring a clear visual representation of the proposed changes. The next step involved creating a site prototype using Webflow, which served as an interactive model for the final website. Iterative design processes and feedback loops were implemented to refine the user experience and visual aesthetics. The final designs were then handed over to the programming team for implementation using WordPress.
