My Responsibility: Redesign, modernize, and completely overhaul the firm brand. Then apply these new brand guidelines to all marketing/client facing assets.
Story: The firm over 2 decades had never had a designer step in to create a brand and as a result had a vast multitude of varying brand colors and ideas being haphazardly applied. The company needed a redesign to consolidate the brand guidelines and streamline all of it's marketing assets to me homogenous.
Levi & Korsinsky, LLP faced a significant challenge with their brand identity—over two decades of operation had resulted in a scattered and inconsistent visual representation. The absence of a unified brand had led to a multitude of colors, styles, and ideas being inconsistently applied across various marketing assets. The task at hand was to initiate a complete overhaul and modernization of the firm's brand, creating a cohesive and unified identity that reflected the professionalism and legacy of the firm. The primary objective was to establish a clear and consistent brand language that could be applied uniformly across all marketing and client-facing assets.
The primary users impacted by the new Levi & Korsinsky brand were clients, potential clients, and any stakeholders engaging with the firm's marketing materials. The firm attorneys and the project manager were crucial collaborators, providing insights into the firm's past case work, identity, and the desired perception within the legal industry.
Time was a critical constraint in this project, as the firm's brand inconsistency needed to be swiftly addressed. The entire firm was also using various brands which needed to be consolidated when the new brand was ready to replace them. Balancing the need for modernization with the firm's established legacy posed a creative challenge. The new brand guidelines had to be versatile enough to apply to a range of marketing assets, from the logo to the firm resume, ensuring a cohesive and professional representation. The attorneys also saw their own success with future clientele to be semi dependent on the results of my brand work and the proffesionalism it conveyed surrounding their own abilities and services.
The approach to the Levi & Korsinsky brand redesign involved a thorough analysis of the firm's history, values, and market positioning. Collaborative sessions with firm attorneys and the project manager provided valuable insights into the essence of the firm. The redesign aimed to modernize and streamline the brand while respecting the firm's legacy. Iterative design processes were employed to create a contemporary yet timeless logo that had several variations to meet any format or context necessary alongside comprehensive brand guidelines. These guidelines served as the foundation for applying the new brand consistently across all marketing and client-facing assets, including the firm resume, future firm documentation such as letterhead and email signatures. These guidelines also went on to be used for the website which the next direct project after this one.

The new logo, built on modern design principles while prioritizing versatility for use across many platforms and formats, became a cornerstone of the redefined brand. The comprehensive brand guidelines provided a clear framework for the consistent application of the new identity across all marketing materials. The firm resume, aligned with the new brand, now serves as a compelling document reflecting the firm's established prior case work, expertised attorney teams, and commitment to upholding the law. The project not only addressed the immediate need for a modernized brand but also laid the foundation for a consistent and impactful brand presence in the years to come.
